About Behind The Mic is a boundary pushing initiative to showcase the cream of emerging creative talent in intimate, candlelit venues where fun and friendliness triumphs over pretence. Singer songwriters, performance poets, story tellers, opera singers, rappers, beatbox masters, instrumentalists...anyone with something to express behind the mic will be considered for our nights.

The Glass Bar is the least likely looking bar in the city, opposite Euston Station. It's rather more like a large square war monument with engravings about its walls. Walk inside and it opens up into a tardis full of sofa's, candle lit tables, ethnic throws, bookshelves and faery lights. It's quite the hidden gem and attracts a wealth of creative and successful female city dwellers. Our nights at the Glass Bar run the first Friday of every month and are hosted by musician turned comedian, Rosie Wilby. Please remember though, the Glass Bar is a Private members club for ladies.
