Alternative club nights continue to play out the best of past and present alternative rock, indie and dance music. These clubs remain, a nurturing ground for early adopting, pro-active young record buyers. This is where music lovers gather to dance to and talk about the best music. Our links with the DJs and promoters provides us with a trusted way to these potential fans.

Over the years, Upshot have developed strong ties with the key DJs playing new music to up to 150 000 ‘up for it’ music fans, All across the UK these DJ’s are providing the soundtracks at everything from big nights at established large city venues to small town clubs that providing the only focus for alternative music to the locals.

We service the music and just as crucially provide a constant stream of up to date artist information in order to develop awareness and increase profiles at street level through word of mouth. This website provides a focus for the DJs who have their own dedicated members area, the site also enables a two way dialogue between Upshot and the DJ’s providing a personal touch not offered by others.

An area we have been nurturing for three ‘seasons’, we are able to service all English Premier, Nationwide and Scottish Premier football clubs with material for use within the stadia pre & post-match, through club radio, programme reviews and other activities. Over the past few seasons, our Upshot Cup (awarded to the most supportive PA/DJ of our music) has attracted broadsheet and Sky Sports coverage, and even led to trracks becoming ‘team anthems’ (run-out music) leading to surges in sales in the area for the release. Earshot Outlets Promotion

Earshot encompasses outlets frequented by the 25-35 demographic, including bars, clothing stores and even hairdressers ! These are independent outlets who play music as part of their general ambience, and are constantly asked about what they are playing by this ‘disenfranchised’ generation of album buyers. We supply the music and if available, postcards in our specially designed counterboxes. With over 200 outlets now involved nationally, this gives your release an extra awareness, and works especially well for established artists and compilations.
