About The Cutting Rooms – three recording studios running at least 50 tracks each, with live rooms to fit bands, solo artists & choirs.

The Cutting Rooms brings together leading edge technology with twenty years of experience. Rooms designed and fitted by Munro, air conditioning in all studios and daylight in studios 1 and 3. All facilities are open 24/7.

Our clients have included The Commonwealth Games choir and band sessions, Oasis, James, Charlatans, Take That, Ocean Software, Parlophone, Manchester United/Status Quo, BBC, Doves and many more...

The Cutting Rooms started over 20 years ago with a basic 8 trk studio as a community resource for North Manchester allied to the AMC theatre. In 1982 grants from the DOE gave birth to the 24 track studio which soon became one of the best equipped facilities in the Northwest. As the Cutting Rooms got more involved with education, City College became a co-funder and built Studio 3. We aim to keep prices affordable and have special rates for community projects and charities.

Duplication Facilities & Vinyl Cutting Service:

We offer CD & DVD Duplication from 1 copy to larger runs, with or without on body print, you can supply artwork or we can make a track-list for you.

Prices start from 50p per CD (runs of 1-50) with one colour on-body print and 40p without on-body print.
DVD’s with or without on-body print from 75-99p each
Vestax Vinyl recorder – 12” vinyl pressings as one-off’s at £20 each (17 mins each side).
