About Semihere are two piece band based in the north-west of England, creating electronic music designed for listening to or dancing to.
We don't really mind either way, as long as people seem to like it.
We are not DJs, we play our own original material live.
(Apart from the occasional 'cover-version-with-a-twist')

Influences: Orbital, Underworld, The Chemical Brothers, Prodigy, Eat Static and The Orb.
Also some influence from such varied sources as Slayer, FSOL, The Moog CookBook, Brian Eno and Frank Zappa. Plus some influence from pretty much everything else we listen to, read, watch, or do.

Our live shows also feature original computer generated imagery for visual entertainment.

Our aim is to create music using a balance of a rich sonic palette, and interesting beats, so that people who like to listen and people who like to dance are all equally entertained.

We write music in most genres of electronic music including Techno, Ambient, Drum n Bass, Trance, Dub, IDM, Breaks, Acid, and many others we don't actually know the name of. Style
